Battery Drain so fast. I`ve updated the software version to 9.33. Since that moment the battery last no more than 24 hours with no workout or activity running during that 24 hours. The only thing working right now is to change the battery mode to Battery Saver and manually activate only heart rate, pulse Oximeter.
1) Pair a watch with a phone and connect it to a Garmin Connect account in the app (in our case, a Fenix 6S Sapphire paired with an iPhone X) 2) Battery usage should now be normal (losing ~0.5 % battery per hour) 3) Remove the watch from the Garmin Connect app (but not from the phone's BT settings!) 4) Do a total factory reset of the watch
Today morning my Garmin Fenix 7 Solar battery was draining 4% per hour. I had not made any changes in the watch, the battery was just draining. Reset with light button didn't help. Finally I installed the latest 9.33 update, and now I'm back in under 0,2% drain per hour. Now I'm wondering how a sudden battery drain is possible, and what made it
A battery-related problem with Garmin Fenix 6 smartwatches has been reported. Users claim that their batteries are draining at ~2% an hour, significantly reducing the wearable's lifetime.
Just restart your watch, it happens randomly. Having the same issue for the past few days, I believe it's started after upgrading to v21.00. (Fenix 5x Sapphire). Fully charged the watch last night, and after 8 hours I'm already down to 75%, with no activity and no button clicks etc. Just restarted the watch. Hope it solves the problem.
. It got better after a few days, so I would give it another few days. That said, I also had a faulty 245 where the battery drained too quickly and only lasted 2.5-ish days. Garmin replaced it. The other commonly suggested thing is check if you have pulse ox on to make readings over night.
Garmin quietly lumbers towards a battery fix It seems that Garmin didn’t really believe reports from myself and many other people concerning unexpected battery drain issues. This is STILL a relatively widespread issue that seemed to come to a head at the start of 2021 when I and others posted about it (see re-post below) .
When the battery is almost full, I get 0.0 %/h for several hours after charging, then it shows 0.1 %/h until the battery is 80 % full, then it shows my "normal" 0.3 %. And, battery consumption is also different on different watch faces (especially CIQ faces), depends on whether phone connections is on, how many notifications you got, etc. etc.
Vivoactive 3 battery drain. thanirs over 4 years ago. My wife's V3 (14 months old) has been draining battery from 100 to 0 in 2 days. The watch battery has been fully drained and fully recharged a couple of times already. I also did a full reset and she has not been using any 3rd party apps. The battery used to last 7 days.
22.10 HRV on and battery draining. _psx_ over 1 year ago. I wanted to know why in alfa/beta HRV is a something new as I have this option in 22.10. So I have switch it onn for one day. And suprise: - I can't find any data connected with HRV. - battery draining +0.5%/h, means 12%/day less. and of course still not fixed bug with all day SpO2 - + 1
